Lindsay Lohan has published her first selfie of herself on social media after giving baby… and her followers are ecstatic over her massive Mean Girls allusion.
It was announced last month that the Parent Trap actress and her husband Bader Shammas had given birth to a boy called Luai.
‘The family is over the moon in love,’ her agent stated, as fans celebrated the actress’s wonderful news.
The 37-year-old tweeted a mirror selfie enjoying her post-partum physique more than two weeks after giving birth.
Uploading a photo of herself wearing a pair of grey shorts and a pale blue top, she said: ‘I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery.
‘Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom. #fridamompartner.’
Of course, anybody who has seen Mean Girls once or twice (or a million times, like us) would recognise Lindsay’s closing sentence as a reference to an iconic line.
Lindsay’s character Cady visits the ringleader’s house for the first time after being invited into the ‘Plastics’ group by Regina Geoge (Rachel McAdams).
There, she meets Regina’s mum, played by Amy Poehler… who proudly professes: ‘I’m not a regular mum, I’m a cool mum.’
We love that Lindsay is now living her cool mum era as a new parent!
Fans praised Lindsay for embracing her after-partum figure and paying homage to one of her most memorable performances in the comments section of her Instagram image.

After three years of dating, Lindsay confirmed her engagement to businessman Bader in 2021.
A year later, it was revealed that the pair had married before becoming a family of three.
