Since the release of Knocked Up in 2007, a lot has happened: Donald Trump became President of the United States, Rihanna is practically a mother-of-two, and Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got together, engaged, had four children, and divorced all in that time.
The infant in the romantic comedy is now 17 years old, which is possibly the most eye-catching change.
Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl play as singletons Ben, a slacker, and Alison, a media superstar, who have a one-night affair that leads to an unwanted pregnancy in Knocked Up.
It’s a comedic classic from the aughts that had us all laughing, adoring, and connecting as we followed Ben and Alison’s improbable whirlwind journey to becoming first-time parents.
At the end of the film, the two welcome their baby girl – a very late spoiler – and live happily ever after… we assume.
We now have a brief update on the most important cast member, thanks to filmmaker Judd Apatow.

The filmmaker who helmed the blockbuster shared an epic throwback of the cast on Instagram, including a very youthful Jonah Hill and Jason Segel. Seth, 41, is seen standing beside Katherine, 44, who flashes a big smile while cradling her on-screen character’s newborn baby girl.
‘That baby is 17,’ Judd captioned the snap giving us all a warm fuzz of nostalgia – while simultaneously making us all feel very old indeed.
Taking a trip down memory lane, one follower commented: ‘I watched this in the theater pregnant and single. It felt like it was talking directly to me. My kid will be 16 this year.’
Another joked: ‘Oh, come on, Jonah Hill is older than that.’
Sharing our pure shock, one fan chimed in: ‘What ??? I’ll never blink again. How the heck!?’
‘My arthritis just started to act up right as I read the caption,’ another quipped.
Knocked Up was a box office success, grossing a whooping $220 million (£160 million) at the global box office on an estimated $25 million (£20 million) budget.
It starred Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, Ken Jeong, Leslie Mann, and Stormy Daniels, who is at the focus of Trump’s current legal problems.
Director Judd also cast his two children, Iris, 20, and Maude, 25, in the film, whom he shares with wife Leslie.
Knocked Up is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
