Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer’s boyfriend, received the wrath of the internet after publicly shaming her wardrobe choice, and the computer simply screamed “no.”
The Nope actress visited Usher’s latest lavish concert in Las Vegas over the weekend and got a lovely moment with the man himself in the VIP area as he serenaded her.
In a video published on social media, Keke, 29, is seen wrapping her arms around Usher, 44, as he sings his sensuous song There Goes My Baby. The two swung and danced in front of the audience, as Keke twirled to show off her costume, a black polka dot mesh dress that revealed her bodysuit below.
Keke was showered with comments on her seductive appearance, but one individual was not thrilled.
Darius, the actress’s boyfriend and father of her four-month-old kid Leodis ‘Leo’ Andrellton, made an unexpected tweet critiquing his partner’s attire.
Darius commented on a video of Keke dancing with Usher, writing: ‘It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.’

His supporters were startled by the public humiliating and retaliated in kind.
One Keke fan responded: ‘Don’t date a baddie if you’re gonna be this insecure.’
Another agreed: ‘Not you jealous of your baby mother ! You right , she’s a mom NOT A WIFE.’
One sleuth did some digging and found a selfie Darius posted of himself sitting half-naked in his underwear, and said: ‘Put some clothes on!!! Why you SO NAKED on IG… Looking like a Great Value, EBT, OnlyFans model…You’re embarrassing your FAMILY!!!.. I thought you were a father.. Remember??’
Another quipped: ‘I liked it better when we didn’t know who you were.’
‘Why would you bring this public though? This should be a Conversation between the two of you,’ another said.
Defending Keke who gave birth just four months ago, one fan stated: ‘As a new mom it would be better for you to encourage her as she is building that confidence back.’
Others criticised Darius for recently posting a video of Keke twerking and called him a hypocrite.
However, Darius hasn’t deleted his comment and doubled down later tweeting: ‘We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.’
Keke hasn’t publicly responded to Darius’ comments, but she did share photographs from the great night on Instagram, including several of her attire.
She captioned the post: ‘I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late! I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic.
‘I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself??’
Usher responded in the comments: ‘The Big Boss!! Thank U for coming.’
Darius looks to be in Keke’s bad books, as she has unfollowed him on Instagram.
Keke acknowledged her relationship with Darius in 2021, and she announced her pregnancy when presenting Saturday Night Live in December 2022. In February, they welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
