Kieran Hayler, Katie Price‘s ex-husband, grew tearful in a Father’s Day video posted on Sunday, claiming he hasn’t seen their two small children ‘properly’ in six months.
Kieran, who married Katie in 2013, made headlines two months ago when he was detained and reportedly questioned by police for child negligence and possession of a handgun with the aim to instill fear of violence.
He was freed in the early hours of April 9 after collaborating with investigators, and it was later stated that the 36-year-old had his air gun taken as “normal practise.”
Katie, 45, shares her two youngest children, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, with Kieran, who made a number of shocking charges over the weekend.
He not only claimed he hadn’t spent meaningful time with Bunny and Jett in months, but he also claimed ‘false claims’ had been made against him.
He told the camera: ‘It’s the first Father’s Day without all of my children. This is a message not just about me but all those dads out there and mums that have been dads that haven’t got their children this Father’s Day.’
Kieran – who also shares a child with his partner Michelle Penticost – went on: ‘It’s tough. I dropped my children off on a Friday and expected them to be returned on a Monday and I haven’t seen them for almost six months. Not properly.’
The personal trainer continued: ‘I’ve seen them here and there but not properly. False allegations here, false allegations there, “he’s this and he’s that, their household is this and their household is that”.
‘I see why dads give up the fight as the system is built for the mum and for the mothers, it’s not built for the dads and it doesn’t matter how strong you’ve been or how you’ve been there through absolutely everything, including agony, heartbreak and pain.’
The dad-of-three added: ‘You’re still there for the kids no matter what is going on on the other side, you’re still there.
‘When it comes down to it the system is built for mums and that is a really sad scenario. I’ve had Father’s for Justice supporting me and I’m looking forward to the next steps with them.’
Kieran also said: ‘This is the worst feeling in the whole world. You feel like no matter what you do, nothing has ever been good enough. It doesn’t matter how hard you fight, they always come back for me and that’s what parental alienation is.’

He concluded: ‘Every time you take one step forward you go ten steps back and that’s hard, horrible and heartbreaking and I don’t wish this on anyone, but I’m a fighter and I don’t give up. I will keep fighting for what I think is right and for the truth.’
Kieran’s rep said in a statement: ‘The response to yesterday’s Fathers day post has been overwhelming as Kieran has been flooded with thousands of messages, emails in public support.
‘Kieran has an army of supporters willing him through this personal journey to justice.’
