Kate Hudson has been spreading the delights of Christmas with her followers, taking photos of all the festive decorations at her gorgeous Los Angeles home.
Although they were inherently beautiful, with a significant focus on Christmas trees, it was one surprisingly vintage element that drew the most attention.
‘Around our home lately I love the holidays so much and throughout the years have collected trees, Santa’s, music boxes, snow villages, ornaments, and more,’ wrote the How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days star, 44, on Instagram.
‘We bake, cook, sing, share laughs and create light to shine everywhere, we wish for love and peace. I am a lover of this time over year and soak every minute of it up,’ Kate added, while revealing a glimpse of her green holiday pillows on the bedspread, gold baubles on a tree and tasteful snow-flocked pinecone and branch banister decorations.
‘I guess that is a good metaphor for how I feel about life and celebrating our time here,’ the Almost Famous actress mused.
‘It’s as fleeting as the holidays. Here today, gone tomorrow. So I choose to make it sweet and cozy. Everyday. And of course every holiday.’

Despite the gorgeous Christmas decorations, followers couldn’t help but notice one nostalgic feature in her first snap – a landline telephone.
A cream corded phone from the early 1990s sat on one of the wooden bedside tables, complete with matching fringed lampshades.
‘But that phone though!?’ commented user Becka F, while Liz Sebasco insisted: ‘There are two!’
(We think it might be a remote control on a stand the other side, which is equally old school.)
‘No radiation by your head at night,’ pointed out Rosa Razucchini of the decision to stick with a landline.
There’s also no incentive to doomscroll on social media.
Kate wrapped up her caption by adding: ‘Wishing sweet and cozy to everyone PS. More decorations and cozy to come ’
Kate resides in her gorgeous Pacific Palisades house with fiancé Danny Fujikawa, 37, and their five-year-old daughter Rani, as well as Kate’s kids Ryder, 19, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 12, with Muse ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy.
The mansion, which originally belonged to her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, and stepfather Kurt Russell, was erected in the 1930s and has been enlarged throughout the years.
The actress also purchased the mansion next door in 2011, which was worth $5.3 million at the time, so she now owns some truly expansive California real estate!

Fans were reminded of this when her home and external Christmas decorations were featured on the TikTok account @celebrityfrontyards, which led on her beautiful Christmas lights.
‘Here we come up on Kate Hudson’s homes, and yeah, pretty beautiful,’ the influencer narrated as the camera whizzed by the actress’s front drive, complete with hedges adorned with light-up giant snowflakes and the words ‘hope’, ‘love’, ‘peace’ and ‘joy’.
As the second and third gateways were passed, they clarified: ‘And this is also her house.’
‘And this is also her house,’ echoed one envious fan in the comments, while others were all for her lights, which featured on everything from the roof to the trees to the landscaped hedges out front.
‘Kate Hudson for the Xmas win,’ posted user Martinana, while Traci G added: ‘Absolutely gorgeous, Kate Hudson.’
‘First one looks so charming,’ chimed in user @neuro.spicy.
As an unabashed lover of Christmas, we look forward to Kate’s promise of more decorations to come!
