Friends, get out your blue, , yellow, and red sweatshirts because it appears that JLS will be returning.
The quartet, which included Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill, rose to prominence on The X Factor in 2008.
JLS, an abbreviation for Jack the Lad Swing, experienced meteoric success in the United Kingdom, winning Mobo Awards and Brit Awards and selling millions of CDs.
JLS fans were crushed in May 2013 when the duo announced their split after seven years together, after releasing a greatest hits album and one final UK and Ireland arena tour.
They did, however, reunite for a reunion tour in October 2021… Fans believe they may have something more up their sleeves now.
Eagle-eyed followers of the organisation have noted that they’ve been especially active on their social media accounts in recent weeks, increasing the possibility that something is on the horizon.
When the band reacted with a video, they merely added fuel to the flames.
Aston, 35, and JB, 36, filmed themselves alongside a tweet reading: ‘The boys posting on the JLS account better mean there’s a good announcement coming soon, because I miss them, I miss tour and everything’.
The two did not confirm or deny anything in the video, but their facial expressions spoke plenty as they raised their eyebrows.
‘Interesting 🤔’, they captioned the video, setting the comments section alight.
‘Am I going to have to empty my bank account again 😂🙌’, one follower laughed.
Another responded, quoting lyrics from their song Everyone In Love, ‘the waiting are killing me already…’ Every minute feels like an hour, and every hour feels like a day’.
‘i need another tour asap’, begged one fan.
‘STOP IT NOW’, exclaimed another with excitement.
JLS has recently posted a few times on their Facebook page, including a Valentine’s Day photo and a birthday greeting for Aston… So, what do you believe they’re planning?
After negotiating a new record contract, the band did express their enthusiasm about possibly new songs ahead of their upcoming reunion tour.
‘At first we said this was going to be a reunion tour for fun, but this has given us time to pull things together and we’ve been writing and recording,’ Marvin said. ‘We’re very excited.
Since their Beat Again days, the boys have all grown up and started their own families.
Marvin, 37, is married to The Saturdays’ and TV personality Rochelle, and they recently renewed their vows in a spectacular Lake Como ceremony after ten years of marriage. They also have three children.
Aston is also married to long-time sweetheart Sarah Lou Richards, with whom he has two children.
Oritsé, 36, married fiancée Kazz Kumar in a modest wedding in Jamaica last year, and JB is a father of two and the husband of Chloe Tangney.
