Jessie J and her family had a Father’s Day to remember.
The singer shared a lovely video of her father Stephen cuddling her newborn baby Sky, which is too cute for words.
In the video, her father can be seen extremely distraught as he embraces his grandson tightly (who appears to be happily enjoying his slumber) while holding back tears. Rose, Jessie’s mother, emerges at the end of the brief film.
‘Video says it all,’ the Laserlight singer wrote in the caption. ‘Happy Father’s / Grandads day Dad. Man I’m so lucky.’
‘He just kept saying “I’m just so happy for you, I know how much you have always wanted this,”’ she continued, before adding that baby Sky was the fifth grandchild in the family.
The hitmaker’s parents are plainly pleased for their daughter and her long-awaited kid.
Jessie, 35, and her boyfriend, professional basketball player Chanan Safir Colman, brought their first child into the world last month, and she’s been keeping fans updated as she enjoys her journey into parenthood.
The Price Tag singer is all too eager to let fans inside her family life, from relishing baby hugs in fluffy bear onesies to being honest about post-partum bodies.
The mum-of-one kept her followers up to date throughout her pregnancy and announcing Sky’s birth in May, she penned: ‘The feeling is indescribable I am flying in love. He is magic. He is literally all my dreams come true. He is my whole world.’

Jessie had previously struggled with infertility and had a terrible loss in November 2021, only weeks before meeting Chanan.
She has been outspoken about her wish to have a kid since then, and she is clearly enjoying every minute of it.
Jessie has paid public tribute to Chanan after the birth of their kid, claiming she would no longer love her spouse ‘quietly’ as she posted charming bits of their journey as new parents on Instagram.
