Following ‘thousands of fan requests,’ Madame Tussauds has unveiled seven waxworks of music megastar Harry Styles, inspired by a selection of his show-stopping appearances from across the world.
The sculptures depict the As It Was singer’s unique flair, assuming seven various stances as he returns to the London attraction a decade after his former One Direction colleagues Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik debuted there.
On July 27, a figure of the 29-year-old will be welcomed through the doors of Madame Tussauds in London dressed in an ensemble inspired on his attire for the My Policeman premiere in 2022.
The combination, which includes a double-breasted hunter green jacket, enormous floral broach, pistachio green slacks, ivory boots, and a brilliant green purse, is coupled with a traditional pearl necklace jewellery that took professional artisans more than 10 months to produce, according to Madame Tussauds.
The other six figures are red-carpet ready, inspired by Harry’s favourite ensembles over the years, such as his pink leather waistcoat and huge pink fur coat in Madame Tussauds Berlin and rainbow-sequined jumpsuit at Madame Tussauds New York, which was made famous by his 2022 Coachella performance.
Meanwhile, the star’s Love On Tour inspired the looks at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Singapore, and Sydney.
In Amsterdam, a figure of the singer will be wearing a pink embroidered, double-breasted suit, in Hollywood, a bronze-fringed sequin vest, and in Singapore, a blue and yellow two-piece from the Glasgow leg of the tour.
Meanwhile, the Australian model will be wearing an electric pink shirt and his characteristic pink feather boa, which he made famous during his performance in San Jose.
The museum said the Styles collection comes after ‘years and thousands of fan requests’.
Angela Jobson, global brand director at Madame Tussauds said: ‘Harry is one of the biggest stars in the world right now, from filling stadiums worldwide with his sellout tours to being a fashion influencer, there is no denying he has left a timeless mark on popular culture.
‘When the opportunity came up there was no hesitation, we jumped at the chance to add the Grammy award-winning superstar to our collection and we cannot wait for fans to see him at any one of the seven venues worldwide.’
