Drake has disclosed the sheer number of bras that are tossed his way during his stage performances.
Hint: it’s a staggering amount.
The 36-year-old rapper has previously shared on social media about the frequency of fans flinging bras onto the stage during his shows, but witnessing them all laid out like this is truly remarkable.
Taking to Instagram, Drake initially posted a video featuring two women retrieving bras from a wheelie bin.
He later shared a photo of himself standing beside the vast collection of lingerie – a display that could potentially secure a Guinness World Record.
Drake captioned his photo with: “Remember when we both forgot who the f**k I was in unison…that wavelength was def a foolish one.”
It remains unclear whether this colorful assortment of bras was hurled at him in a single night (seems unlikely) or accumulated over the course of his tour. What’s undeniable is that a substantial number of bras were flung his way at a Drake concert.
In recent weeks, musicians have been targeted with various objects while on stage – from Bebe Rexha enduring a black eye from a phone being thrown at her face to Taylor Swift dodging bracelets.
Things took a bizarre turn in June when a concert-goer threw their mother’s ashes at Pink during a performance. Even Drake, typically greeted with a flurry of bras, experienced an unusual incident when a poetry book was tossed at him last month. Drake, quick to catch the flying book, remarked to the audience, “You’re lucky I’m quick. Would’ve had to beat your a** if that hit me in the face.”
50 Cent recently playfully expressed his desire to partake in the bra-throwing tradition, humorously requesting to be treated “like Drake” in an Instagram video.
“Can somebody help me with my feet please? They don’t treat Drake like this. They don’t treat mother**king Drake like this,” he quipped, seeking attention.
“Drake, they throw him bras. What do I get? Could you please go get me some Drake fans? S**t just don’t feel right. I need to feel special around here.
“I need them to treat me like I’m Drake. Drake gets bras every night, bras every night! I used to get bras in the beginning of my career.”
