In episode 4, Ahsoka fans finally witnessed a long-awaited moment that left them ecstatic.
The latest installment, available on Disney Plus, introduced a fascinating concept known as the ‘World Between Worlds.’
However, the highlight of the episode was undeniably when Ahsoka (played by Rosario Dawson) turned to see her former master, Anakin Skywalker (played by Hayden Christensen), standing before her.

Now, speculation runs wild among Star Wars enthusiasts about the explanation behind Anakin’s appearance and what it means for Ahsoka.
What is the ‘World Between Worlds’ in Star Wars?
In the latest episode of Ahsoka, the lightsaber-wielding warrior is presumed dead by her apprentice Sabine (played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo) after a duel with the antagonist Baylan Skoll (played by the late Ray Stevenson).
However, Ahsoka awakens in a mysterious dimension known as the World Between Worlds after falling off a cliff into rocky waves below. In this enigmatic realm, she hears Anakin’s voice and sees him standing before her, followed by Darth Vader’s music playing before the credits roll.
The World Between Worlds, previously featured in the animated series, is intricately connected to the Force as a pocket dimension.
This Force-connected plane exists alongside the real world and links all places and times, which explains the possibility of Anakin reuniting with Ahsoka.
In the animated series Rebels, Ezra Bridger used the World Between Worlds to save Ahsoka. Therefore, some fans theorize that Anakin may have done the same after her lightsaber duel, strongly indicating that Ahsoka may still be alive.
Why does Anakin call Ahsoka ‘Snips’?
Ahsoka’s nickname ‘Snips,’ given to her by Anakin shortly after they first met in The Clone Wars animated series, has a long history.
When the two characters were initially introduced, they didn’t get along well. Anakin was reluctant to take Ahsoka as his Padawan, while she was eager to learn and train as a Jedi.

The nickname ‘Snips’ was originally meant as an insult, describing Ahsoka’s snappy attitude when she challenged him and voiced her opinions.
Over time, ‘Snips’ transformed from an insult into an affectionate moniker, making it meaningful for fans to hear Anakin use it towards Ahsoka once again.
Ahsoka is available to watch on Disney Plus, with new episodes released on Wednesdays.
