Christine McGuinness and her ex-husband Paddy McGuinness are still on good terms one year after their divorce.
The couple, who have three young children, announced their divorce in July 2022, after 11 years of marriage.
Their children, however, are unaware of their parents’ divorce because they continue to co-parent while living together.
They are said to be leading their separate lives outside of their Cheshire estate, having “put the hurt behind them.”
According to reports, the former couple has moved on and is now focused on parenting Penelope, nine, and twins Felicity and Leo, seven.
According to OK, a source said: ‘They are stronger than ever as co-parents – they have put the hurt behind them and are making things work for the children.’
Christine and Paddy stated in their divorce announcement last summer that they will be civil co-parents.
Their statement read: ‘A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.
‘This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children.
‘We’ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.’
And they’ve kept their pledge, as the two recently attended their kids’ sports day together.
Their autistic children are still unaware of their parents’ divorce, with Christine explaining why they have yet to inform them.
Speaking to OK! magazine recently, she said: ‘We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well.
‘I like slow changes, and we’re alright – we’re family.
‘I’ve known Paddy for 15 years, so I don’t know life without him. It is what it is.’
Model Christine, in particular, has stated that she is not searching for a new romance right now.
Christine and ex-husband Paddy spent Christmas together, not long after photographs of Christine kissing companion Chelcee Grimes, 31, at Winter Wonderland surfaced.
The mum-of-three previously said: ‘I was talking about this with a friend, actual dating I can’t think of anything worse and I think for an autistic person it is so much worse because the dating scene, from what I’ve heard, you have to go into a restaurant, you’re meeting someone you don’t know, you’re in a place that you might not have been to before.
‘I don’t drink so I wouldn’t go to a bar but I never really dated so going on dates for me is not something I want to do. I absolutely do not want to go on a date.’
