According to reports, Ariana Grande and her husband, Dalton Gomez, have divorced.
After more than a year of dating, the Save Your Tears singer, 30, married the real estate broker, 27, in May 2021.
According to rumours, the couple has chosen to divorce after first splitting in January, with the Grammy winner photographed sans her wedding band when attending the Wimbledon men’s final on Sunday.
According to sources, the pair began having troubles before she departed to film Wicked in December, and they sought to reconcile.
Dalton is believed to have visited his partner on set in London in an attempt to resolve their differences.
However, TMZ reports that they couldn’t save their marriage and have walked away from the relationship – but still remain close friends.
‘They came to the decision together,’ a source also told PageSix. ‘They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.
‘They’ve been really good friends throughout the entire process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.’
Ariana and Dalton have yet to officially respond to the claims.
The couple was first seen together in February 2020 at Bar Louie in Northridge, California, and went public with their romance shortly after.
In the music video for Stuck With U, the musician’s duet with Justin Bieber released later that year, they provided audiences an insight inside their whirlwind affair.
Following a brief engagement, they married in a small ceremony in 2021, with only a few lucky guests in the know.
Ariana’s rep told People Magazine at the time: ‘They got married. It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people.
‘The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.’
The news of their divorce may come as a surprise given that the Thank U, Next singer just celebrated their wedding anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Alongside a selection of rare snaps, including some from their big day, she simply penned: ‘2 (3.5 together!) I love him so.’
