BBC Breakfast viewers have been voicing their concern after Louise Minchin failed to appear on the show for a third week in a row.
The news reporter has been absent since mid-November, with fans beginning to ask if she was OK with the issue not being addressed.
Thankfully, Dan Walker was on hand to clarify what had happened with his co-star, after Louise spoke up herself on Twitter about what was going on.
Why isn’t Louise Minchin on BBC Breakfast?
After a fan asked what was going on with Louise, co-host Dan replied on Twitter: ‘She is off after having her broken foot fixed.
‘I think she’ll be back on #BBCBreakfast next week.’
On Sunday night, Louise had spoken up herself about what had gone on, and shared a picture of her photo with her foot up in a thick cast.
She said: ‘Hiya, if you’ve been wondering what I am up to, I am having a break, to get my foot fixed.’
When will Louise Minchin be back on BBC Breakfast?
‘When I am a bit more mobile, as Arnie says, I will be back!! @BBCBreakfast,’ Louise said to assure fans.
In her place, a number of regular faces including Naga Munchetty have been filling in for her.
