Following Holly Willoughby‘s departure, a new host will take over This Morning.
That radio and TV personality is none other than Siân Welby, whom you may be familiar with from her previous work for channels such as the BBC, Channel 4, and ITV.
Siân has previously featured on This Morning, most notably as an entertainment reporter.
However, she will be taking on the position of principal presenter with Dermot O’Leary, which is a shift from her current work as a Capital Breakfast host.

She was born in Nottingham and raised in the area of Upton.
She started her presenting career at the age of 19, while working part-time in retail.
It wasn’t long before her abilities were recognised, leading to a prominent job at Channel 5.

‘He was so ill, we all thought he was going to die,’ she said about her father, who was 82 years old at the time.
‘He couldn’t even open his mouth to eat, he went down to six and a half stone.’
Speaking to The Sun, she continued: ‘He went so downhill in such a short amount of time the doctors thought he had advance dementia and would be bedridden. We had to tell them, “No!” He wasn’t like this at all before!’
Siân stated that her father couldn’t believe that celebrities such as Emma Bunton and Amanda Holden had given him well wishes.
When is Siân presenting This Morning?
Siân, who has previously been on This Morning as a showbiz reporter, was announced as co-hosting the show alongside Dermot from Monday, January 22 to Thursday, January 25.
On social media, she reacted by saying: ‘This news is about me and even I don’t believe it.’
An insider previously said: ‘Sian has many years of presenting experience under her belt, she is very much ear marked as being a star of the future.
‘She has done really well already on This Morning so the bosses thought it was time to give her the reins to the whole show rather than just segments.’
They added to MailOnline that viewers ‘love a new, fresh face on the show so everyone involved in it is really excited’.
