Boiling Point, starring Stephen Graham, has fans in awe as the film was released on streaming platforms on Wednesday, March 23.
First released in cinemas in January, UK film fans can now watch the Bafta-nominated film at home.
What is Boiling Point about?
The film follows head chef Andy Jones (Graham) on a busy night at a London restaurant’s pressure-filled kitchen, and impressively, the 92 minute film, by director Philip Barantini, was filmed in one unbroken shot.
At a screening in January, when the film was first released, Graham said: ‘For me, it is the most zen acting I have ever done in my life.’
‘When you’re acting you’re always told it’s about being in the moment and living for that moment you’re in. With that you have no choice because you are actually right in the moment and in the environment.’
They filmed Boiling Point (at a real restaurant in Dalston) all the way through in one take just four times, and although Barantini said the fourth take was technically better, the third take was used for the movie because of the quality of the performances.
But now that it’s no longer in cinemas, where can you watch Boiling Point?
