The Great British Sewing Bee is back, with a brand new location.
The BBC One show returned last week with 12 aspiring sewers hoping to impress judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young with their sartorial creations.
Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed that the show, hosted by Joe Lycett, has switched settings this year.
Where is The Great British Sewing Bee filmed?
The Great British Sewing Bee series seven was filmed at The Chainstore on Trinity Buoy Wharf in London’s Docklands.
The Christmas and New Year’s specials were also shot at this location, which was built in 1854 and is connected to London’s only lighthouse.
The Chainstore is described on its website as a ‘Grade II listed brick building with triple height ceilings and bags of character’ – perfect for the Sewing Bee.
Patrick Grant said of the venue: ‘It was a real joy to spend time there. We’d come onto the set just before 7am every day and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Having that wonderful vista across the River Thames from the sewing room, can’t help but inspire the sewers. It was a spectacular place to shoot.’

The Sewing Bee was previously shot at 47-49 Tanner Street – the same location as Dragon’s Den – in Bermondsey, as well as at Metropolitan Wharf in Wapping, London.
This year’s contestants include a cruise ship entertainer, a maths teacher and a trumpeter in a gay men’s symphony orchestra.
Each week, contestants will be tasked with a pattern challenge and a transformation challenge, before constructing a made-to-measure garment.
One piece will be chosen as garment of the week, while one unlucky contestant will be sent home.
The Great British Sewing Bee continues on Wednesday night at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
