We’re past the halfway mark of The Great British Bake Off 2020, and this week the show’s remaining bakers will be taking on the first-ever Japanese week.
All of which means that Tuesday night’s instalment will be bringing us the contestants’ own spin on Asian steamed buns as well as a showstopper inspired by Japanese kawaii – the love of all things cute.
And no doubt their creations will once again inspire viewers to get in the kitchen and create their own versions – but if you want to reproduce a Bake Off receipe, be it one from a contestant or one from Paul Hollywood or Prue Leith, just where do you find them?
Here’s what you need to know…
Where can you find recipes from The Great British Bake Off?
If you want to bake like a Bake Off contestant, you can find recipes from the show at the Great British Bake Off official website.
The site has recipes from 2020 contestants as well as a selection of recipes from those who took part in the previous three series on Channel 4.
You can even find Paul and Prue’s recipes there, including Paul’s recipe for chocolate babka – the technical which thoroughly challenged the bakers in Bread Week – and Prue Leith’s Biscuit Week recipe for Chocolate Macaroons.
As well as picking up those recipes, you can also submit photos of your own bakes to the site.
While that might be the main place to find your Bake Off baking inspiration, it’s also worth keeping an eye on the contestants’ Instagram pages for any recipes they may share on there.
Lottie, for example, has shared some recipes on her Instagram page recently, including cinnamon swirls with a decidedly Halloween-y twist.
When is The Great British Bake Off on?
The Great British Bake Off continues on Tuesday night on Channel 4 at 8pm.
If you’ve missed any of the series so far you can catch up via All4.
