Love Island is finally back! (Picture: ITV)
Those Love Island withdrawal symptoms you might have experienced during its extended break from the screen are about to come to an end – as the 2021 series is finally here, with our long hot summer due to kick off on ITV2 on Monday night.
The show’s been off screens since early 2020, with last summer’s series being shelved due to the Covid pandemic – but it’s finally back, with 11 brand new singletons lining up in the Majorcan villa in their bid to find love, and no doubt bring us a whole lot of drama on the way.
We’re counting the hours till it kicks off – but just what time should you tune in – and just how long does the series run for?
Here’s what you need to know…
When is Love Island on?
The new series of Love Island begins on ITV2 on Monday night at 9pm.
The opening instalment runs for an hour and 35 minutes, making it slightly longer than your average episode – with subsequent shows running for an hour or just over an hour.
You can also look forward to an almost daily fix of action from the villa, as new episodes are on every night except Saturday – when instead the highlights show, Love Island: Unseen Bits will air at 9pm.
