Fans of The Circle will be able to get their fix of the show from tonight as The Celebrity Circle finally launches – and the non-celebrity version of the show is not far behind.
The third season, which launches on Tuesday, March 16, will once again see strangers move into separate flats in an apartment building where they can only meet each other on the social media app, The Circle.
Each contestant has the chance to be a catfish with a fake persona in order to become the most popular person on the site and ultimately win the show.
Emma Willis will return as host as well as Sophie Willan as narrator, and executive producer Tim Harcourt previously said: ‘Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, people around the world have been learning the power of connecting remotely.
‘Perhaps in the light of this, the new series will resonate even more for audiences as well as offer them the distraction of fun, warmth and strategy.’
Launched in 2018, the series has been a huge hit for Channel 4, and viewers can see a host of celebrities take on the challenge from tonight.
The names involved in The Celebrity Circle include Denise van Outen, Lady Leshurr, Duncan James and Nadia Sawalha who will be competing to be crowned winner.
Nadia and fellow Loose Women star Kaye Adams will be teaming up to pretend to be Gemma Collins, while reality stars Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks are going to try and convince everyone that they’re actually Countdown’s Rachel Riley.
With the celebrity version starting a week earlier, viewers will then get to see non-celebrities tale on the same challenge in the third series of the hit show.
The Circle UK returns on Tuesday, March 16 from 9.15pm on Channel 4.
