Vanessa Feltz is living her own life now that she has signed up for the next season of Celebs Go Dating.
The 61-year-old TV presenter, who divorced from long-term husband Ben Ofoedu in February after 16 years due to reports that he had cheated on her many times, has been cast in the forthcoming series of the E4 dating show with Lottie Moss and Chloe Burrows.
On Thursday evening, the roster for this year was released, with Adam Collard, Mark-Francis Vandelli, and Spuddz rounding things up.
Following the news, Vanessa uploaded different pieces of media on her Instagram Story, including a screenshot of an article accompanied by a clip from Billy Joel’s hit My Life.
‘I don’t care what you think anymore, this is my life,’ the singer can be heard saying in the sample she released. ‘Go on with your life and leave me alone.’
The reality stars will all seek love advise from dating specialists Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson, who will be joined for the first time by TikTok star Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
The six celebrities asked members of the public to apply for the programme in a video released on social media on Thursday evening.
Vanessa jokingly sobs: ‘What have I signed up for?’ before asking ‘Would you date me?’
An insider told The Sun: ‘The stars are all meeting for filming today and the Anna, Paul and Doctor Tara cannot wait to get started.
‘Love Islanders Chloe and Adam have already tried to find love on TV so the experts will have their work cut out.
‘Vanessa’s journey will also be really interesting to watch. Not only is she the eldest of the six, she recently went through a very bad break up so will be working on loving herself – as much as finding love.’
The This Morning and Talk TV actress recently confessed she had been out ‘every single night’ since her breakup five months ago, and she acknowledged Celebs Go Dating would be ‘exactly up her street’ as she hunts for her ‘Prince Charming’.
She told OK! magazine earlier this week: ‘I can’t confirm or deny whether I’m actually doing it.
‘But I can certainly say it would be right up my street and I would be absolutely willing to give it my very best shot and I will take it very seriously and hope that it yields me the true love of my life and Prince Charming!
‘I think it would be a fabulous idea! It would be the perfect show for me. If I were to be doing it, everybody can expect me to fling myself into it with my heart and soul.’
Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 later this year.
