He even revealed he met the 74-year-old royal at his 50th birthday where he said: ‘Well done. You’re just here to get information for your act aren’t you?’
Rochelle and Phil sprang up again to say farewell to Charles the impersonator as the interview came to a close.
Rochelle curtseyed while Phil said ‘your majesty’ as he exited the studio.
The interview perplexed viewers of This Morning, with one writing on Twitter that “He doesn’t look like or sound like Charles.”
Another said: ‘Since he seemed like a nice old man, I’ll pretend he looks like Charles, but in reality…’
Many other social media users also queried Charles’ likeness to the King, commenting that they were struggling to spot the resemblance.
Rochelle, too, seem baffled, telling the audience once the interview ended while laughing: ‘I’m not sure what’s just happened?’
