The Walking Dead showrunner has dropped a teaser picture of season 10 returning and boy, are we ready.
Taking to Instagram, Angela Kang shared a snap of a member of the Commonwealth army dressed in their usual white armour and stood by a cargo container.
‘You ready to see what they’ve been up to? #TWD,’ Kang captioned the post on Instagram.
Naturally, fans were thrilled with the sneak-peak and flooded the comments with cries such as ‘YESSSSSSSSS MORE THAN EVER’ and ‘I was born ready baby’.
The Commonwealth army last appeared in The Walking Dead season 10 episode 16, titled A Certain Doom, where they were seen at the railway yard where Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Juanita Sanchez were waiting for Stephanie.
They stormed the area pointing their weapons at them, ordering them to put their hands in the air and drop their weapons.
It’s been revealed they’ll be returning for episode 20.
Last week, Angela confirmed that The Walking Dead season 10 will be returning on Sunday 26th February with six new bonus episodes.
The episode titles have also been revealed, and it looks like there’s a return for one of the show’s most notorious villains, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
The upcoming chapters are titled Home Sweet Home, Find Me, One More, Splinter, Diverged and Here’s Negan.
Production on the show was disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year, with its 10th season finale being delayed.
Speaking at the virtual San Diego Comic-Con panel, Kang previously announced tentative plans for six new episodes of season 10 to air in 2021.
‘Obviously, Covid has disrupted a lot of stuff for every workplace, including ours,’ she said.
‘We haven’t been able to restart production, but we’ll be getting back to work as soon as we safely can.
‘We will not be airing season 11 episodes this year as we normally would.’
