Lottie Lion, a former The Apprentice star, was taken to the hospital after moving to Bali.
Lottie, a candidate in the 2019 series, aged 19 when she made it to the last episode of the BBC series before being sacked by Lord Alan Sugar following the interview stage.
While she achieved considerable commercial success, her tenure on the programme was tainted by various episodes that brought her under public attention.
A year ago, the former librarian said she had relocated to Bali, but she is currently in the hospital with an unknown disease.
Lottie shared a photo from a hospital bed, showing herself wearing an oxygen mask and a hair net.
She jokingly captioned the Instagram story: ‘Only Fans material?’
Although she did not disclose why she was in the hospital, she did mention that she was healing.
Sharing a picture of her view from her hospital room, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge seen, Lottie captioned the story: ‘Focusing on recovery, thank you for your lovely messages.’
Last year Lottie told The Sun she would ‘not be back in the UK for the foreseeable’.
‘I am still working remotely but for the next four weeks I am going to be volunteering 15 hours a week with the Bali Animal Welfare rescue centre in Ubud,’ she said in January 2023.
Since then, she’s shared several updates from the Indonesian island, as well as many in the Australian city.

In 2020, Lottie suggested a move overseas was on the cards, writing on Twitter: ‘I really fancy quitting everything. Going back blonde and living abroad again, in the sun, care-free.’
However, while she has been travelling the world, she enraged many last year when she slammed parents who went with their children in business class.
During an August journey to Paris, she became irritated when she noticed she was seated next to a family.
After sharing a photo looking annoyed, she wrote: ‘Not to sound pretentious or anything (but we all know I am) why the f**k are children allowed in business class?’ she began.
‘There’s a bratty six-year-old NEXT TO ME with the parents in the row in front.’
After a follower asked what parents were meant to do with their kids, she joked they could be ‘put them in the luggage hold or something I guess.’
The Apprentice airs Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One.
