Jeremy Strong, a Succession actor, has commemorated the end of his tenure on the programme by cutting off all of his hair.
The series, which debuted in 2018, came to an end last week, with the fourth season finale being hailed “perfect.”
Jeremy, 44, who portrayed Kendall Roy, has shed part of his persona by having his head shaved by his on-screen brothers after receiving criticism for his method acting tactics over the years.
A few hours after the final episode aired, a member of the show’s team shared a video on social media of the actor getting a haircut from Sarah Snook, 35, and Kieran Culkin, 40.
Kieran, who plays Roman Roy’s younger brother, advises Jeremy to turn around and look in the mirror after shaving a neat line down the centre of his head.
After looking off his new hairstyle, Jeremy smiles before Sarah makes her way over and takes over the haircut responsibilities after being urged to ‘get in there’.
Clearly taking the job more seriously, the actress appears to have a razor-sharp focus as she begins working her way around the remainder of her co-star’s hair, putting a love heart shape on one side of his head.
Several crew members then decide to get involved, asking if they may have a turn, and as time goes on, the job becomes increasingly chaotic, leaving Jeremy with a big bald spot in the middle of his head.
Jeremy, on the other hand, appears unconcerned, telling the assembled crowd that “anyone can get a crack.”
When he asks Kieran whether he wants a haircut, he gets a quick ‘no’ and the crowd bursts out laughing.
Kieran can be seen smashing an egg on his co-star’s virtually naked head in another video shared online during the middle of the haircut.
Sarah, clearly taken aback, wipes part of the egg off her face before they both hug, until a crew member gets Kieran back by doing the same to him.
At the conclusion of it all, Jeremy turns to see what kind of disaster he’s been left to clean up, looking into the mirror and taking the clippers to his own head.
The hilarious event occurred just after the actor finished filming his final part, which required downing a very awful smoothie.
Kendall, Shiv, and Roman prepare a’meal fit for a king’ in the finale, which involves raiding their mother’s cupboards and combining milk, Tabasco, bread, a whole egg and shell, cocoa powder, Branston pickle, and sunflower oil spread.
Jeremy revealed during a visit on the official Succession podcast that he was fully dedicated to the moment, but that he ‘went outside and retched’ immediately after drinking it.
While he described the drink as “disgusting,” he also stated that it was a “wonderful night” since the concert ended at the end of that segment.
Succession is available to stream on NOW.
