Karen Hauer of Strictly Come Dancing has made a significant shift in her life when it was announced that she had’split’ from her spouse of one year.
The professional dancer was a major sensation with comedian Eddie Kadi on the BBC competition’s 2023 series, getting the first ten of the series before being the fourth pair to be eliminated.
It was reported last month that the 41-year-old had divorced her spouse Jordan Wyn-Jones after one year of marriage.
Karen was photographed without her wedding band on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards, and it was reported that the couple had a ‘difficult time in the last few months’ before deciding to split up.
Amid the speculation surrounding their marriage, Karen’s name on Instagram remained ‘Karen Hauer Wyn-Jones’.
However, it has since been changed to ‘Karen Hauer’, with her husband’s surname removed.
Jordan, on the other hand, has his Instagram page set to private.
Karen and Jordan’s relationship was previously discussed by a source, who stressed that there was ‘no ill will’ between them.
‘Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split,’ they told The Mirror.
‘It’s obviously very sad for both of them. But there’s no ill will whatsoever.’

‘So whenever we’re having tricky moments or anything like that, it’s just seeing the vulnerable side of each other and understanding it and knowing that both of us are working on things because nobody is perfect.’
Until 2009, Karen was married to her former dancing partner Matthew Hauer.
She was married to former Strictly Come Dancing star Kevin Clifton, who is now married to Stacey Dooley, from 2015 to 2018.
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
