Despite it all, the Made In Chelsea star, who is partnered up with Karen Hauer, has never stopped smiling throughout his stint.
However, chatting to Metro.co.uk about his experience on the dance floor, the 32-year-old admitted he had a meltdown backstage before one performance.
And we totally don’t blame him.
Spilling the beans on his meltdown, he told us: ‘I had one before doing the Samba [in week four]. You go backstage and you get like five or 10 minutes to warm up before your dance.
‘And I was backstage, trying to remember my steps and I couldn’t remember any of them. I looked at Karen, and said: “Karen, I’ve lost it. I lost it.” She said, “Well, you better find it”. That was a bit of a meltdown, but we were fine.
‘She’s strong as anything, “You better find it”. Okay, fine, I’ll find it somewhere.’
Well, they managed to get incredible scores of 25 out of 30 on the night, so it’s safe to say that Jamie found it.
The sweet entrepreneur has had his fair share of criticism throughout his time competing for the Glitterball, and has found himself in the dance off a few times.
Instead of panicking, he has always come back stronger, nailing his next performance and making the viewers smile at the same time.
Speaking about the judges’ comments so fair, Jamie was adamant that they have always been fair in whatever they’ve said, and he is just thrilled to be taking part.
Fair enough.
This year’s competition is different to other years, as most contestants are having to isolate away from their friends and family in order to take part.
Jamie is ‘fortunate’ as he has been able to stay at his London home with his girlfriend, Sophie Habboo – but explained that some of his co-stars are finding it tough without their loved ones by their side.
‘I think the hardest thing for a lot of individuals, and I’ve been fortunate because I live in London and I can live with my girlfriend, but lots of people have had to self isolate without their families.
‘I think for them, that’s been really tough. I don’t know how well I would do if I wasn’t able to see my girlfriend and things like that, because it gives you a sense of normality.
‘I think that’s what you need during this, so I think for other people that’s quite tough.’
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday, at 7pm, on BBC One.
