Stacey Solomon has admitted she would find it a nightmare if her Loose Women co-stars got her a stripper for her hen do… so will they respect her wishes?
On Friday’s edition of the ITV programme, the panel discussed the controversy of footballer Andy Carroll being pictured on a bed with another woman two weeks before his wedding to Towie star Billi Mucklow.
The former England striker had flown to Dubai to surprise his fiancée while she was on her hen do, two days before she and her friends flew back and his stag do began.
On Loose Women, conversation went to what kind of behaviour people wouldn’t mind if people had ‘slip-ups’ on stag dos, with Kaye Adams bringing up the fact that it’s common for men to go to strip clubs for bachelor parties.
‘If you girls got me a stripper for my hen do I’d be devastated,’ Stacey remarked, ahead of her wedding to Joe Swash.
Nadia Sawalha immediately went to calm Stacey’s nerves, telling her: ‘Don’t worry, we won’t. We know you well enough.’
Stacey continued, emphasising further why she would hate to have a stripped hired for her wedding celebrations.
‘I would be devastated. I would hate that. Why would I… I mean, I don’t want to see anyone naked at the best of times,’ she said, laughing nervously.
Kaye jokingly quipped: ‘Cancel the plans,’ as Stacey pleaded: ‘Please don’t!’
Even if they don’t hire a stripper, we reckon the Loose Women stars will raise the roof with a party in honour of their pal Stacey.
Kaye recalled her own experience when she was 21 years old, when a ‘Tarzanagram’ – ie a man in a loin cloth – made an appearance at her birthday party.
She explained that he was ‘quite a petite guy’, and was supposed to lift her up at the end… but he decided against it.
‘He took one look at me and said, “There’s no way I’m lifting her up, it was so embarrassing.” So I lifted him up instead,’ she stated, leaving her co-presenters in fits of laughter.
Joe proposed to Stacey on Christmas Eve in 2020, having first started dating four years prior.
The couple have two children together, three-year-old Rex and seven-month-old Rose.
Stacey also has two older sons – 14-year-old Zachary and nine-year-old Leighton – while Joe also has an older son called Harry, 13.
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
