Stacey Solomon has slammed her husband Joe Swash for a really amusing reason.
The 33-year-old Loose Women panellist hosts Sort Your Life Out, in which she visits struggling families whose homes are overrun with junk.
Stacey and the crew, as the title indicates, assist the participants organise their life in just seven days, and they must get rid of at least 50% of their junk.
On The One Show on Monday (September 4), Stacey was asked about her life at home husband Joe, 41, whom she married in 20222.
‘What about Joe, has he got anything to get rid of?’, she was asked.
‘Are you trying to get me divorced?’, Stacey joked in response.
Looking down the camera, she said with a smile: ‘He’s probably watching, I love you, Joe, thanks for watching the kids right now…’
‘But yes, there’s so much,’ she added.
Stacey then revealed her husband’s current interest, which has likewise drove her insane due to his preoccupation with… fishing equipment.
‘He’s got a fishing obsession. What is with that? He doesn’t even fish!’, she exclaimed.
‘I’ve never seen him catch a fish but he has got every rod you could think of. Every rod!’
Revealing how bad things got, Stacey went on: ‘It got to a point where… so, the garage has got gym equipment in and he collects his fishing stuff in there.
‘So I thought, do you know what, not one more day can I run on this treadmill and look at that fishing equipment, so I built a stud wall!
‘I just started putting it up with my friend because I was like, “I don’t want to look at this fishing stuff anymore, I’m building a wall!”‘
Well, she is the DIY queen!
Her admission comes after Stacey and Joe were compelled to explain themselves following internet anger over the extravagant trip.
Stacey and Joe spent tens of thousands of pounds on an extravagant trip to Turkey with their children at the luxury Regnum Carya hotel.
Fans were outraged as Stacey revealed she obtained a discount from the agency, alleging she ‘doesn’t live in the real world’.
Addressing the trolling, Joe later told The Mirror: ‘We’re in the public eye so you’ve got to take the rough with the smooth and not everyone is going to agree with us.
‘We work really hard and we try to take our kids on holiday. We only work hard so we can spend more time and do more things with our family.
‘People are going to have a go but it’s fine they’re allowed their opinion and we take it with a pinch of salt.’
Stacey also encouraged people to ‘unfollow’ her if her post upset them.
Yes, always killing them with kindness, the singer kindly reminded folks that no one was forcing them to follow her, not long before clapping back at a troll who called her ‘annoying’ in the most quintessential way.
