On live television, anything may happen, but this is extraordinary.
Mick Fitzgerald, a former rider, deserves all the credit for handling a very unpleasant scenario when his Sky Sports broadcast of the horse racing at Lingfield was interrupted by an unexpected and overeager guest.
Everything was going swimmingly when Mick was on site, conversing with Martin Kelly back in the studio, until one bystander felt they needed their moment on camera.
The woman in issue entered the picture and tried to deter him by wrapping her arm over him and sticking out her tongue.
Mick, ever the professional, grinned at the unusual change of events and managed to keep talking despite the dangers of live television.
She stepped out of sight, but it was just a little reprieve for the poor commentator, as she returned for more and even dropped her frock to show off her underpants on live air.

Fortunately for the censors – and her modesty – Mick obscured the most of the incident.
She moved up behind him as he tried to talk about the weather on the racecourse and give viewers an update on rainfall.
The woman, never one to pass up a chance, said, ‘I’m so wet!’
At this time, Mick decided to cut his losses and returned to the TV studio, teasing: ‘I’m really sorry about that, it is live television Martin but I’m sure her mum will be pleased when she sees that.’
Some viewers felt they spotted Mick blushing, while others thought the entire incident was “priceless” and that he “handled it well.”
Another viewer wondered whether someone in the control room should have cut away from the scenes faster, laughing: ‘Whoever presses the button to go for a break on At The Adverts was obviously enjoying it too much (sic)’
