Rylan Clark has said that his new X-rated Channel 4 programme has made him carefully reconsider some of his professional decisions.
Rylan, 34, will be the face of another upcoming programme called Sex Rated, which will feature single individuals seeking bedroom advise, after wowing his Instagram fans by revealing a fresh new hairdo while filming a new TV series in Venice.
The programme, which is set to premiere in the second half of 2023, will see candidates receiving advise from sex specialists as well as numerous of their ex-partners.
Nothing appears to be off the table, with Rylan admitting that he has been left wondering why on earth he signed up on a few occasions.
‘The point of the show is people come on and we talk about their sex life,’ he told the Tea at Four podcast, co-hosted by friends Lauren and Christie.
Continuing, Rylan gave details about the series: ‘We also get their exes to rate them and, as you can imagine, some ratings aren’t what they expected it to be.’
He then revealed the moment that had him wondering what he’d signed up for: ‘It’s not a horrible thing, but there are some jaw-dropping moments.’
‘At one point I did question myself when a sex swing came down from the ceiling.’

Following the resignation of former presenter Phillip Schofield, Kerry Katona asked Rylan to take over hosting responsibilities on ITV’s This Morning earlier this year.
‘If it were up to me, I’d like Amanda Holden and Rylan Clark to host it,’ said the 42-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer.
Rylan’s successor was announced when he announced his resignation as presenter of the Strictly Come Dancing extra show It Takes Two.
Fleur East, who participated in Strictly and reached the final in 2022, will take over as the show’s new host when it returns in the autumn.
Declan Doyle, Rylan’s ex-partner, alleged last month that TUI workers had him ‘verify’ his kid was his.
Sex Rated is expected to be released on Channel 4 later this year.
