Richard Madeley will feature in a new reality series alongside his daughter Chloe as she transitions to motherhood for the first time.
The 67-year-old former anchor of This Morning met his wife Judy Finnigan, 75, while hosting the morning breakfast programme from 1988 to 2001; the couple shares two children, including Chloe, 35.
In addition to her personal training work, Chloe has worked as a television host, following in the footsteps of her parents.
Now the family’s private affairs will be the focus of the reality television series At Home With the Madeley’s.
The four 60-minute episodes will broadcast on ITVX and will feature the Madeley family “opening their doors for the first time ever.”
A synopsis for the show has teased that: ‘At the heart of the series is Richard and Judy’s daughter, Chloe who’s just become a mum for the very first time.’
‘With her parents even more involved in her life, and husband former rugby star James Haskell forging a new career as a DJ, Chloe is navigating complex family dynamics, a busy career and motherhood.
‘We’ll see TV royalty Richard and Judy as the doting grandparents, supporting Chloe through the tough early months of motherhood and enjoying their ever-growing family as we follow them on family days out and family holidays.’
In 2018, Chloe wed James, a 38-year-old former England rugby union player, and the couple welcomed their daughter Bodhi in August of the same year.
Due to renovations, they were compelled to vacate their own home and moved back in with her parents shortly thereafter.
However, Chloe previously confessed she was concerned about how living with her parents would affect their relationship.
She told The Sun: ‘I was quietly devastated and dreading it. I thought we were all going to be so frazzled.’
However, she stated that everything had worked out and that there was “the loveliest family camaraderie” between us.
At Home with the Madeley’s will air on ITVX later this year.
