Sonja Morgan revealed that she’d ‘popped a stitch’ following a recent liposuction treatment while having sex.
For their new series, Welcome to Crappie Lake, the Real Housewives of New York legend was joined by Bravo co-star Luann de Lesseps.
The show followed the couple as they switched New York for Benton, assisting residents in sprucing up the town after it was decimated by the virus.
However, with a caravan showing them wreaking havoc on the villagers, it was never going to be that simple.
Sonja became close to a local trucker when she experienced a problem after having previously gone under the knife.
‘I popped a stitch from my liposuction,’ the 59-year-old casually confessed during an episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
For his part, Billy was said to be totally unfussed by the ordeal, as Luann, 58, continued: ‘It didn’t even register in this guy’s head…’
At least it wasn’t a total mood killer…
Reflecting on their visit to Illinois, Sonja added: ‘Luann got over that real quick. She was like, “Sonja, you can’t be wearing a compression garment on the show. It’s 110 degrees”.
‘The lipo has to drain and I didn’t know all this for reals. But we get through anything, Luann and I. We have no problem.’
Sonja and Luann had little time to recuperate as they travelled straight from Crappie Lake to St Barts to begin filming the forthcoming series of the Ultimate Girls Trip.
After Andy Cohen stated that RHONY will be rebooted, fans waited impatiently for details on a ‘Legacy’ series, which has now been changed into an Ultimate Girls Trip spin-off.
Earlier this year, finally announced than OGs Luann and Ramona Singer and would be returning, alongside Sonja, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Dorinda Medley and Kristen Taekman.
The gang avoided Dorinda’s Bluestone Manor, instead flying to a sun-drenched paradise.
