In the midst of their alleged disagreement, Phillip Schofield is claimed to have hired lawyers to guarantee that he presents Monday’s programme of This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby.
Despite rumours that the couple no longer interact behind the scenes and that their friendship has ‘cooled,’ ITV daytime confirmed on Sunday night that the pair will host tomorrow’s show together.
According to reports, Phil, 61, contacted attorneys about the problem, which is a “clear sign that he is taking this very seriously” and is “keen to get out of this situation quickly.”
According to the article This Morning entered crisis discussions over the weekend to determine who would host the show on Monday, with neither party saying they were willing to stand away.
The show’s official Twitter account indicated that both parties would return to the screen on May 15.
Announcing the news in a tweet that outlined the schedule, it read: ‘Coming up on tomorrow’s #ThisMorning with Phillip and Holly:

Reports of a rift between Holly, 42, and Phil initially surfaced last week, with insiders suggesting that the two are not on good terms behind closed doors, despite their deteriorating relationship.
In a statement released with The Sun, Phil sought to dismiss claims of a conflict and lavished admiration on Holly.
‘As I have said before, Holly is my rock,’ he said. ‘We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
‘Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.
‘The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.’
Phil’s comments was reported to have ‘blindsided’ Holly, who had no idea he was going to speak about their connection.
