Amanda Owen, face of Our Yorkshire Farm, has been accused of living a ‘TV lie’ by her new partner’s divorced wife.
Amanda, 48, was seen in a vehicle with a guy thought to be her new partner, businessman Robert Davies, 71, earlier this week.
However, his distraught wife has accused the couple of having a five-year affair, which she discovered after discovering a love note in his vehicle.
Yasumi Davies, 56, has tearfully remembered her marriage’s collapse and accused Amanda of “turning my life upside down.”
Yasumi explained what happened when she first discovered the deception, saying her husband was’more worried’ about safeguarding Amanda’s TV job than ‘acknowledging the agony I was experiencing’.
‘She didn’t care how I felt and showed no sympathy,’ she said to The Sun.
Yasumi said she used to watch Our Yorkshire Farm and was “impressed” by Amanda because she was “devoted to family.”
‘However, she has been deceiving the British people and living a double existence,’ she added.
‘She has authored books, appeared in calendars, made cameo performances, and appeared on other television programmes.
‘However, it’s all a fabrication. I had no idea she was another person behind the cameras, and the reality has shattered my heart and ended my marriage. She has a different aspect.’
‘I enjoyed my peaceful existence with my lovely spouse, living together, but now I’ve lost everything because of her,’ she continued. She has upended my world and flipped it upside down.”
‘Robert, life is too brief & happiness is too uncommon,’ Yasumi said of the affair. I adore you’.
She later discovered some of Amanda’s jewels in a suitcase in their bedroom.
While Robert, who has been married five times, was said to have stopped the romance at the time, his wife claims that it was rekindled a month later.
He has since left their matrimonial residence in Malton, North Yorkshire.
After meeting in Tokyo and marrying in 2011, Yasumi has now said she plans to divorce her husband.
‘I don’t feel hatred. I’m just disappointed by her and what she has done. I wonder if she has ever thought about my feelings?’ she said.
While she labelled her husband a ‘weak man who got bored’, Yusami said her ‘revenge’ would to be ‘happier than them’.
Amanda and ex-husband Clive, 68, divorced last June after 22 years of marriage.
Since 2018, the pair and their nine children have been the stars of their own TV program, which ended last year.
Our Yorkshire Farm is available to watch on Channel 5.
