Gregg Wallace, a MasterChef judge, has shared some heartbreaking family news.
On Tuesday night, the 59-year-old TV chef rushed to Instagram to announce the death of his father-in-law, who died at the age of 66.
Alongside a picture of his parents-in-law raising a glass of wine, Gregg wrote: ‘Farewell Massimo Sterpini 1957 – 2023 my much loved father in law.’
Fans rushed to the comments to share their condolences, with one writing: ‘My thoughts are with your wife and mother in law and you and all the family and friends at a very sad and heartbreaking time May he rest in paradise and shine bright in your hearts always.’
MasterChef 2019 winner added: ‘Very sorry to hear about your and Anna’s loss Gregg. He was too young!’

‘I love Rena — we have such a giggle. We are roughly the same age,’ he said, of his mother-in-law.
He went on to The Sun: ‘Me and Rena remember the same TV shows and sing the same 1970s pop songs.
‘Anna doesn’t know what we are talking about. We were singing Boney M at breakfast this morning and Anna has no idea.’
Gregg married Anne-Marie, 21 years his younger, in 2016, and the couple is expecting their first child in 2019.
Sid was named after both of his grandfathers, and he shares the same middle name as Anne-Marie’s Italian father, Massimo.
Anne-Marie is Gregg’s fourth wife; he married his first wife Christine in 1991 and subsequently branded their marriage as the’shortest marriage in the world’ since they divorced after only six weeks.
Gregg then married his ex-wife Denise, the mother of his children Tom and Libby, in 1999 after six years of dating.
After meeting Heidi Brown on Twitter, the MasterChef judge married her third wife, biology teacher Heidi Brown, in 2010. They married at Coworth Park in Berkshire but divorced after only 15 months.
