Martin Roberts fought back tears as he revealed his naked body on television for The Big Celebrity Detox.
The 59-year-old Homes Under the Hammer actor joins Kerry Katona and Megan Barton-Hanson on the wacky Channel 4 show.
He has previously spoken about his time on the programme, admitting that he ‘drank his own pee’ and even’s**t himself’ at one point.
One step of the celebrity detox, termed Shame, required the stars to stand nude in front of mirrors, totally embracing themselves for who they are.
As Martin unrobed, he began: ‘I was really, really fat as a child, and I was hugely bullied at school as a result.
‘It has always lived with me.’
Fighting back tears, he added: ‘I don’t know if I can do this.’
However, facing his demons and shame with the ‘nude mirror gazing’, he took off his robe and confronted his stories from the past.
‘F**k them! You look great mate!’ he told himself in the mirror, addressing the childhood bullies.
‘It didn’t work because wherever you are, tough s**t.’
‘I love you,’ he added to the mirror.
Later, he said to the camera: ‘As steps go, it was a pretty big one.’
Martin had recently completed a very different duty the day before: spanking treatment.
And, despite the fact that he described it as ‘completely ludicrous’ and something he had never done before, he ended himself laughing the entire time.
He added: ‘My life has never prepared me for this moment.
‘I’ve never been spanked nor have I spanked anyone else.’
However, the property expert couldn’t stop giggling as he pulled down his trousers and revealed his bottom to the rest of the party.
Toby Aromolaran commented to a grinning Martin after delivering the spanks, ‘He’s creasing!’
‘Martin really loved it, a little too much!’ said the Love Island star.
‘I think he’s discovered a kink or something.’
The Big Celebrity Detox continues on Thursday at 9pm on E4.
