The Repair Shop has become one of the most popular series on British television, so it’s no surprise that it’s back for season 13.
In Jay Blades’ programme, antiques, furniture, and other objects that appear worn or would otherwise be discarded are rejuvenated by skilled blacksmiths, carpenters, furniture builders, and fixer-uppers.
It has managed to move admirers to tears on several occasions, including an astounding metamorphosis of boots worn by prisoners of war during World War II.
The store has even hosted royalty, with King Charles III paying a visit to commemorate the BBC’s centenary.
But where is the genuine Repair Shop that appears in the show? Where do restoration specialists Suzie Fletcher and Will Kirk, as well as renowned host Jay Blades, gather to shoot the series?
