Margot in the past revealed her great fondness for Love Island, an ITV dating show that Davide and Ekin-Su triumphed in last year.
She rated their season as the finest one yet, largely due to the oscillating couple.
‘I’d rate Paige [Thorne] as my top favorite – but the sheer entertainment this season is owing to Davide and Ekin-Su,’ she reflected at the time.

In his post to followers, he appreciated the ‘memories and opportunities’ they had as a couple for a year, desiring ‘nothing but the best’ for Ekin-Su. He also expressed gratitude.
‘Asking everyone to respect this difficult transition, I’ll be there for Ekin whenever required,’ he stated.
