Molly Marsh of Love Island has apparently had a love spark with previous competitor and son of Boyzone singer Ronan Keating, Jack.
Molly, who was born in Yorkshire, will be in the tenth season of the reality dating show, which will premiere in just a few days when a new group of Islanders go to Majorca to find love.
The ITV2 dating show, hosted by Maya Jama, will see Molly join the likes of semi-pro footballer Tyrique Hyde and model Ella Thomas, as she takes over from Laura Whitmore for her second series.
Molly, 24, is already said to be in a relationship with Jack, also 24.
‘Molly and Jack were messaging and there was a great spark when it first started, it was playful banter,’ an insider added.
‘They knew each other through her influencer work and he seemed really keen.’
The insider added to The Sun: ‘It fizzled out before they actually met up though and there was less interest from Molly’s side to be honest, but he still likes all her photos online.’
This comes little over two months after Jack became a first-time parent.
Although Jack and new mother Keely are not a couple, he has previously shown excitement about the potential of co-parenting.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘Her mother and I have decided to keep her identity private for now and we ask everyone to please respect our privacy at this time.
‘My daughter’s mother and I are not together, however, we look forward to co-parenting and giving our little girl the best support system that she needs.’
Jack added: ‘This is an exciting new chapter for me and my family and I am completely besotted already.
‘I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a father and give my daughter the most amazing life.’
Ahead of entering the villa, Molly shared: ‘I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone.
‘I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.’
Revealing any claims to fame, she added: ‘With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island Villas in Mallorca and South Africa.
‘Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible.’
Molly, like Jack and previous islander Gemma Owen, is the child of a renowned face.
Her mother, however a performer in her own right, is Janet Marsh, who has been in Coronation Street, Where The Heart Is, and Bodies.
Love Island returns to ITV2 on Monday, June 5.
