Logan Paul’s back is covered in scratches and bruises as a result of a devastating Ladder Match at WWE Money In The Bank.
On Saturday night, the controversial YouTuber turned wrestling hero was part of a high-risk marquee event at The O2 in London, and the outcome of the fierce battle was evident.
He posted a snapshot of himself turning away from the camera in front of a mirror after the match, which also featured WWE performers Ricochet, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, Shinsuke Nakamura, and eventual winner Damian Priest.
‘I like this sport,’ he tweeted, tagging the WWE account and proving he’s here to stay despite the intense physical toll.
It was yet another great performance for the social media sensation, whose athleticism and ring abilities have gained him the crowd’s admiration, even when they boo him.
The crowd was on its feet at one point as Logan and Ricochet were overturned on a ladder towards the ropes, with the latter tossing himself and his opponent out of the ring and into two tables outside.
The manoeuvre, known as a Spanish Fly, didn’t quite go as planned, as the couple struggled to get their footing before takeoff, and Logan appeared to crash awkwardly face first into one table.
That one snapped, while the other held tight, with little give when the wrestlers collided.
Thankfully, both guys seemed to be largely uninjured (apart from Logan’s scratches and bruises), and WWE President Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque referred to this in a post-show press conference.
He chuckled: ‘Happy to say that the only injury tonight was, and I’m not even going to say who it was because I don’t want to embarrass them, but the only injury tonight was somebody on their way back from the ring after having done basically nothing, rolled their ankle on the walk back.
‘So a wonderfully successful night. And more importantly than that, everybody’s healthy.’
