Katie Price’s daughter Princess opens up about the effects of social media on teenage mental health.
The 13-year-old speaks to her mum about the rise in young people experiencing struggles with their mental health in a new film for Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Katie, a mother of five, recruits her kids to discuss the problems that they face, and why there has been a 5% rise in children seeking help, according to NHS research.
‘Definitely the way [people] look because people are so judgemental,’ Princess responded to pressures she faced.
‘One hundred percent social media… people don’t want to be unpopular.
‘Exams – because GCSEs will come up and you want to do well for your parents and you want to do well for yourself, obviously.
‘There’s just so many things, you can name so many…’

Thankfully Princess knows that she has people to go to with any problems, and added ‘I’d probably go to you, or my friends, my best friend I tell pretty much everything.’
‘The good thing with our relationship, you know you can always talk to me,’ Katie then reassured her daughter. ‘And you do… You can talk to me, literally, about anything.’
Princess – the daughter of Katie and Peter Andre – made her comments shortly after begging TikTok to reinstate her account.
At the time a message from TikTok explained that the account had been permanently banned ‘due to multiple violations of our community guidelines’ – and it has since been claimed that it’s because her profile wasn’t private.
TikTok allows under 16s to have an account, but insists they are not public in order to protect them.
Steph’s Packed Lunch airs weekdays from 12.30pm on Channel 4.
