Lorraine and Loose Women share one studio and just change the set each day, which has perplexed people on the internet.
The ITV shows are both shot in the Television Centre in London’s White City, but they don’t simply share a building; they are actually in the same location.
Lorraine begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 10 a.m., whereas Loose Women doesn’t start until 12:30 p.m. This affords the behind-the-scenes team two and a half hours to switch out the Lorraine set, which includes two couches, three tables, plant pots, and even a kitchen, for the panel show’s furnishings on weekdays.
Former 60 Minute Makeover anchor Peter Andre would be happy, since the entire switcheroo takes around an hour, giving them time for a tea break. Of course, they can’t wait too long because Loose Women has an audience that needs to arrive approximately thirty minutes before the programme begins.
TV fan account SuperTV wrote: ‘I was today years old when I found out Lorraine and Loose Women share the SAME studio and their sets are built and taken down EVERY SINGLE DAY.’
The post on X, previously Twitter, has received over a thousand likes, and many comments express disbelief.
Account DavidMackayyy said his ‘mind was blown’, and a few people simply couldn’t believe it was true including X user Reeceutfw who wrote: ‘It can’t be true. Any videos?’

If anyone from Lorraine or Loose Women’s social media teams is reading right now, then please create a TikTok of the transformation. The fans have spoken.
Hughie Maughan who appeared on Big Brother said: ‘They’re all on wheels the pieces to move in and out, loads of tv studios is the same.’
The personnel have to do it every day, so I’m sure they have the procedure down. It’s similar to how we change our home office into a living room by placing a laptop in a cabinet and lighting a candle, but on a bigger scale.
If you want to see the Lorraine set demolished, one observant watcher saw it in the backdrop of a 2020 edition of This Morning, where Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan went about in a golf buggy backstage.
It’s a big jigsaw. You can see the Lorraine pieces outside here when Richard and Judy are in the golf cart https://t.co/TArYaDdaQM

‘They share Christmas trees too. They just turn them around and each side has different baubles,’ shared TV worker Lucy.
This was simply too much for the person behind SuperTV, who stated that they would lose their sanity.
Former Jeremy Vine show social media manager Mared Parry revealed that they are not the only ones saving space (and likely money) by doing this: ‘Jeremy Vine show and Channel 5 news too haha.’
Good Morning Britain and This Morning share space with Lorraine and Loose Women, however unlike Lorraine and Loose Women, they remain constructed.
‘They’re just back to back – and in fact share cameras which pass through the moving walls between shows,’ explained SuperTV.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV. Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
