Daisy Jones and the Six, Amazon Prime Video’s latest miniseries, is now available in the UK.
The drama, which stars Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, follows up 20 years after the rise and collapse of the band that lends the series its name.
Each of the members, played by Keough and Peaky Blinders’ Sam Claflin, agrees to talk about the band’s tumultuous past for a documentary.
Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, who collaborated on the romantic dramas 500 Days of Summer and The Fault in Our Stars, developed it.
The band’s debut album Aurora, which will also serve as the series’ official soundtrack, has been made available on music streaming services ahead of its release.
Daisy Jones and the Six is based on the novel of the same name by Taylor Jenkins Reid, author of the critically acclaimed novel Malibu Rising.
Is Daisy Jones and the Six a real band?
Daisy Jones and the Six are not a genuine band, despite the fact that the series is presented in a documentary format spanning ten episodes, looking back over a lengthy period of time.
Taylor Jenkins Reid, the story’s creator, has said that she was significantly inspired by the iconic music band Fleetwood Mac.
The behind-the-scenes reality of their 1977 famous album, Rumours, which was recorded when the band were having significant interpersonal problems.
