Rugby star Danny Cipriani has been cast in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! according to rumours.
The 35-year-old footballer is as well-known for his love life as he is for his achievements on the game, having previously dated Kelly Brook and Katie Price, as well as being linked to Caroline Flack.
According to reports, ITV executives are hoping Danny would blow the beans about his time as a tabloid darling if he is included in this year’s lineup.
‘Danny is one of the most exciting signings for this series, he will be the hunk of the line-up and already there is talk of him and shower scenes amongst staff working on the programme,’ the insider told MailOnline.
‘There is also huge anticipation that he will reveal secrets from his showbiz lifestyle, he has been linked to many women over the years, and his scandals are well documented too so there will be lots for him to share.’
Danny is currently married to mental health advocate Victoria Rose, whom he married in April 2021.
Given their rapid split, Pricey will no certainly have something to say when he enters the jungle.
Katie stated in her 2013 memoirs that she walked in on Danny in bed with another lady.
‘In my experience, he was a bit – erm – lean in the most obvious departments,’ she wrote.
‘That’s why I nicknamed him Danny Chipolata. He can no longer hit the right spots on the rugby field and he certainly can’t find them on a woman.’
If Danny does go on this year’s I’m A Celebrity, he’ll be camping with The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner, Denise Van Outen, and This Morning’s Josie Gibson.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV later this year.
