Viewing figures for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here have dropped to their lowest since 2014, and have dipped below five million for the first time in seven years.
Thursday’s episode of the ITV series reached 4.6million viewers, according to Broadcast TV.
The previous low was in November 2020 when 5.5million (27.4%) tuned in.
However, I’m A Celebrity did exceed the 2.6million (16.2%) slot average and beat Masterchef: The Professionals at 2.6million.
Of course, this doesn’t include figures from catch-up, which will cause the viewership to rise significantly.
According to statistics from ITV, I’m A Celebrity is currently averaging around 9.7million viewers when all devices are taken into account.
The series has returned to its usual live shows following a rocky few days amid Storm Arwen, when a production base had to be repaired.
The live shows were taken off air for four days in a row, with compilation episodes airing instead.
Meanwhile, the celebrities were taken out of the Castle and put into quarantine, before reuniting when it was safe to return.
Most recently in the series, Frankie Bridge and Naughty Boy took on a brutal trial, with the Saturdays star getting emotional afterwards.
