This Morning host Holly Willoughby gave an interesting insight into her new show filmed in Italy, as she made a return to the studio on Thursday.
The presenter was away for most of January to film Wim ‘Iceman’ Hof’s Superstar Survival alongside Lee Mack.
Rochelle Humes was standing in for the regular host until her return, presenting alongside Phillip Schofield, until he was struck down with Covid earlier this week.
On Thursday morning’s programme, Holly was firmly back, as she appeared alongside Josie Gibson, while co-star Phil remains in isolation.
Josie opened the show by saying: ‘This is nice, welcome back!’
‘I’ve been away, it’s lovely to see you, it’s like the blondes have taken over,’ Holly joked.
Teasing her upcoming series, she told viewers: ‘I’ve been in Northern Italy, up in the alps, doing a new TV show coming out later this year with Wim Hof.
‘Completely bonkers… I’ve had heat patches in places I didn’t know existed.’
When questioned on whether she took part in any of the Ice Man’s challenges, she admitted: ‘No! You’ll have to wait and see.
‘There were a couple of little moments, I did have the cold showers… I lasted about 10 seconds.’
Fans shared their love for their pair, who were hosting with each other for the first time.
Writing on Twitter, one fan shared: ‘Josie and Holly!!! What an iconic duo #ThisMorning.’
‘I can see these two working pretty well together actually #ThisMorning,’ a viewer added, with someone else commenting: ‘Thank goodness! Holly and Jose #ThisMorning.’
‘I’m quite liking Josie & Holly together prefer Josie though, she should be a presenter more often #thismorning,’ said another.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
