Marvel fans are in for an exciting adventure now that the release date for Hawkeye has arrived, with veteran hero Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) teaming up with newbie Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) in New York City.
The Disney Plus show follows Clint after everything he’s been through in the MCU, from having his family Snapped away by Thanos to losing his best friend Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) when they went after the Soul Stone.
It’s been two years since Avengers: Endgame came out, which marked the end of the epic Infinity Saga.
Since then, Marvel fans have been treated to series including WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki, as well as films such as Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Eternals.

(Although this could technically mean that Loki is set all the way back in 2012, but given time exists in a different way at the Time Variance Authority, let’s not go there).
While it’s known that Shang-Chi is set after Endgame, it’s unknown exactly when, while WandaVision takes place three weeks later.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set six months after Endgame, with Spider-Man: Far From Home taking place eight months after the blockbuster film.
Eternals is also based eight months after Endgame, leaving Hawkeye, which is set two years after the
Florence Pugh is set to return as Yelena Belova from Black Widow, while Linda Cardellini is back as Clint’s wife Laura, as are Ava Russo, Ben Sakamoto and Cade Woodward as their children Lila, Cooper and Nathaniel.
Zahn McClarnon stars as Maya’s father William Lopez, with Fra Fee as Kazi and Brian d’Arcy James also in the cast.
