Fiona Bruce has spoken out against Camilla Parker Bowles’ imminent Antiques Roadshow appearance.
The Queen Consort appears in the special episode, which was shot at The Eden Project in Cornwall and will air this Sunday.
On the popular show, the 75-year-old even takes two personal artefacts to share with the expert.
The first item is an unique Royal Collection snuffbox made of Cornish silver, which was mined just 40 minutes away from the filming site.
Duncan Campbell, a silver specialist, is overjoyed with the piece since it is the first all-English silver he has seen in his career.
Meanwhile, books expert Justin Croft admires Her Majesty’s copy of Gray’s Elegy in a Rural Churchyard.
The Queen Consort expresses her admiration for the poem as well as her fascination with the book’s excellent binding, which was completed in 1899 by the Guild of Women Binders.
Later on, the Queen joins Fiona, 58, in a ‘guess the mystery item’ challenge, which leaves the pair ‘stumped,’ according to the broadcaster.
She explained: ‘The Queen Consort was just terrific fun. She put everyone at ease and was keen to take part in the programme and chat to everyone.
‘The members of the public that came along with their items that day got a bit more than they bargained for as they had no idea The Queen Consort was coming!
‘Her Majesty got stuck into our Antiques Roadshow games, though ‘Guess the Mystery Object’ had us both stumped.’
During the task, Geoffrey Munn, a jewellery specialist, asks the duo and the audience to discern the actual function of three strange items: a piece of rock crystal, a silver plaque adorned with a pair of eyes, and two jewelled arrows.
Antiques Roadshow will air on Sunday March, 5 at 8pm on BBC One.
