When working as an air hostess, Evangeline Lily admits to farting on ‘rude’ passengers.
The Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania star, 43, spoke details about her experience travelling the world with an airline before becoming a great star in Lost.
Lily appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday night, with Danny Dyer, White Lotus actor Will Sharpe, comedian Maisie Adam, and British model Leomie Anderson, and revealed she was’miserable’ as an air hostess.
‘The training’s six weeks. I did it for two months and then I showed up for a flight to Germany without my passport and I was like, “I don’t think this job’s for me” and I quit,’ she told the host.
There was, however, one benefit.
‘In the meantime, I’d managed to find a good system for if people weren’t pleasant with me on the plane,’ she continued.
‘When you pass by, you just do a little “crop dusting”, leave a little scent behind for that a***hole to enjoy… I did, I farted on them. What else did I have at my disposal.’
Lovely.
She’s now working with Hollywood luminaries, and she described how odd it is to be in the upcoming Ant-Man film with Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas.
They’re on such good terms now, she calls them GILFS [Grandparents I’d like to…]
‘There was this day on set, we were doing a scene in a restaurant and we were in a waiting room, so they filmed the waiting room with extras and there were children. I turned to Michael and Michelle and I said, “You know, you guys are real GILFs.”
‘Michael had no idea. He said, “What’s a GILF?”
Instead of being cool about it, in front of a room full of children I went, “It’s a grandpa I’d like to f***.”
‘And then immediately realised I’d told Michael Douglas I’d like to f*** him, which is not what you should say in front of a bunch of kids, oops!”’
The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 9.40pm on ITV.
