Holly Willoughby was left red-faced after making the same embarrassing error for the second day in a row.
The 42-year-old Dancing On Ice host made This Morning viewers laugh on Tuesday when she unintentionally called Ross Kemp, well, Roman Kemp, with the radio DJ afterwards enthusiastically responding with a scathing response.
And the Wylde Moon creator was back on track after making another massive mistake with names on Wednesday’s Lorraine, which had her co-stars in stitches.
The gaffe occurred during the Scottish presenter’s daily hookup to the ITV daytime show, which airs after the chat show, when she cordially welcomed Holly and Craig Doyle, 51.
But in a hilarious gaffe, Holly replied: ‘Hello Craig’ seemingly mistaking Lorraine for her co-presenter.
Realising her error, Holly looked shocked as she asked: ‘Did I just say, “Hi Craig” ?’
The Wylde Moon founder explained she had been looking at the autocue and seen Craig’s name and simply read it out.
As Lorraine burst into laughter, Craig cheekily remembered: ‘This isn’t the first time [this has happened].’
Holly, giggling, then turned to Craig and said: ‘Hi Craig, nice to meet you’ as she shook his hand.
‘What’s happened?’ she joked.
Fortunately for Holly, Ross didn’t seem to catch her error on Tuesday, peering down the barrel of the camera with a sneaky smile as she referred to him as Roman.
However, word of what transpired immediately reached Roman, 30, who replied by altering his Twitter profile photo to one of Ross.
‘#NewProfilePic,’ he wrote, after first retweeting a clip of the video.
when he handled it well, Roman made a recent error when appearing on the ITV breakfast show.
Last month, the Capital Breakfast anchor arrived at the studio without shoes after a hectic weekend at the helm of the Summertime Ball.
Roman acknowledged that he had forgotten his shoes while leaving the home early in the morning, explaining how the weekend had been a “total blur.”
Fortunately for him, he had some slides at work that he could wear, and he decided to show up wearing them with socks, much to the pleasure of Holly and co-host Dermot O’Leary.
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV.
